Well, that answers my questions about whether or not Zika still plays- great quote at the top by the way. I'm more a fan, however, of what Aristotle said: Do nothing in excess. Gaming, like anything, can be good or bad for you depending on how you choose to use it. We all need hobbies as an escape, but when the aforesaid need escaping from, then it's likely you've taken things too far. Frankly, I think the old scheme we had of doing HNMs (as though we were all employees) contributed a lot to that sense of disillusionment you and I both felt at the moment we pulled the plug on our respective alter egos.
P.S. Now that I'm doing so much on black mage, I have infinitely more respect for good stunners. Everyone should have to do that at events every now and then so that they can understand the pressure put on a person's ability to catch an action in a sea of chat log activity.
