You thought I forgot, didn't you? Well ok I almost did. And I have nothing witty at all to say, but it's friday, I'm glad to be home, I'm looking forward to an evening of doing nothing but immersing myself in the internet. Going to a Juneteenth party tomorrow, google it if you're curious.

Day 2... kinda
So here I am on day two, it's 6:26 am, and I've already been up for 45 minutes, for no good reason I might add. I've eaten breakfast, made a cup of tea and done a small amount of clearing up in the kitchen while grumbling about the fact that the man had the day off yesterday and apparently didn't see the need to do any housework. Everytime I stop back here I miss it...
so why don't I ever stay? Reading the old stuff makes me want to write, and that can't ever be a bad thing. How can I make LJ a priority again? I mean facebook has it's uses... but I swear it's killing my brain cells... I find myself staring at it waiting for something new to happen... it's sick! I'm back!
Thanks to the many wonders of my beloved iPhone, I have returned to livejournal! And it is my hope that soon I will be residing in a domicile that features broadband, and when this is so, I see myself spending many a cozy winter night in front of a blazing fast computer! Yay I'm back!

I miss livejournal
I stopped back here to get a journal entry for something I was doing on facebook, and stayed to read some old entries. I sounded so literate! I don't feel that way most of the time, so it's good to remember it's possible. I miss writing here, I miss thinking out loud, I miss a social networking site that doesn't have a like button. So on the way home from work tonight, (after going in late this morning cause I was still SO freaked out about what happened yesterday that I didn't want to drive in the dark) I was looking again, for signs of an accident, where a car might have gone into the ditch, something to make the event a little less surreal, and thats when I noticed it ( Read more... ) -

Question of the day
While laying here in bed nursing my aching back, I'm multitasking. Trying to teach myself visual basic on a whim, musing over some of theferrett 's ramblings on his web site, and I wonder... hmmm where are those oxycodone my husband can't take... I'm almost out of my vicodin... I haven't called the doc yet to see if they'll refill me, but there are some ( Read more... ) -
Forgive me el jay, for I have been absent, it's been 12 weeks since my last confession.
Only 12? Feels like way longer than that to me, I've had illicit transgressions with myspace, and more recently facebook, and I've even been seen trolling for women on OkCupid, but livejournal I have missed thee.
