I just found out that one of my college friends has a couple days left to live, at best. It's amazing what thoughts go through one's mind when someone that they went to school with, who is the same age, is about to die

I'm sorry, Joel. Thank you for that beautiful reminder...it greatly saddens me that it takes moments like this for us to make such realizations. and yet somehow I appreciate that God is providing for us such a beauty as the appreciation for life, love and friendships even in the moments when we are simultaneously seeing and experiencing such pain. Ironic, yet beautiful... *hug*
