sam, in my eyes, you are a hippopotamus in the spotlight. speaking of the new year, maybe we will hang out for really real one time in 2006. think about it.
haha, hippos. because you left a comment: leah, i like that i can talk to you for real knowing that you're not going to take everything i say so seriously. it's comforting.
ha, agreed. ben, i think i've wholeheartedly finally come around to you. i think you took a little while for me to fully get, but now that i have i really enjoy having you around. sorry about this weekend; things came up. we'll talk.
drama class check-ins were always such a waste of time because everyone wanted to talk about how they went to cvs during t block and my goodness how we CARED what happened to them there. and then we didn't do drama because we were so busy talking about that stuff, especially when mary decided it would be good to turn it into a discussion about drugs. woopie.
don't diss check-inzimsaJanuary 8 2006, 22:50:00 UTC
zoe, or "zoë". you are wonderfully hilarious and exciting. i loved reading your journal entries from this past semester; after every single one, i felt like i could do the whole "ohhhh, zoë..." thing, even though we're not the oldest of friends. i like to give you hugs because you are tall, like me.
haha, i have such a painful memory from freshman year check in.. i was like "...and YES, i am wearing my sweatshirt inside out today." because it was that ugly one with the flames. remember that one? ewwwwwwww. also, sam, you makea me laugha because you still apply your approach to check-in to these "intermittent, gem-like" LJ entries. and by "gem-like", i mean "omg haha his MOOD is portishead, TOO!" jk jk. <3
i don't know of what you speak in this SAT vocabulary speach (intermitten), but since you replied: anna and i are beings together, floating around, who happen to be quite similar despite everything. we know exactly what makes the other person laugh, and we share almost identical senses of humor. we both like celebrities, and both have the same guilty pleasures and both stay up way past our bedtime. we had the same nail-clipper as a child--i think this means something. i feel a very strong connection to anna and highly value her friendship. three cheers!
oh, and p.s. explain yourself on this whole entry business because frankly i don't understand. i'm not offended. just explain.
hey, a-lizard-breath you complete me. the listener, the one who knows. sorry if i give you pooppoop advice sometimes or make you feel :-\, but know that i care and that i always will. i'm reading beloved by toni morrison, and i think i could call you that. beloved. you are. OK BYE
