I woulda thought that the Trinity was a great didactic tool in help "better organize" the Irish. Had to have been a challenge to do this with strongly natural-totemic tribal societies, the celtic polytheists without some kind of "merge lane". Keep a little of the old in Zoomorphic interlace decorating a book of gospels, symbolising the indefinite past and the indefinite end ( - eventhough the Irish tried to remember orally clear back to Genesis with the "begat so-and-sos") and you've got it synched! (i.e. Saint Cuthbert with the Lindsfarne Gospels or the Book of Kells.)

there was a poem posted recently on great poets here regarding the maggot. The end line of which went something like:

no one gets to heaven without going through you first.

You amaze me. You're the only person I know who can write an entry like this and make me think it's eloquent.
