Here are some statistics, most of them from the UN, which while more concerned with humanity than, say, the WTO, is still generally supportive of the neoliberal project. Perhaps this will finally drive home the point that no matter how much abstraction and theoretical bullshit mainstream economics pumps out, reality will continue to be reality.

Yep, 'free' markets definitely foster democracy. The Phillipines under went neo-liberal reforms over the past couple decades, and the wonderful result is the presidency of Gloria Arroyo.
