The commute from my hotel to the institute takes 45 minutes in the morning and more than an hour on the way home.  This is stupid.

But I had good pizza for dinner.  That makes things worthwhile.

Crazy hail! Skylights! Loud!

So, here I am in Denver. So far it's looking like a nice city. When I was coming in from the airport it reminded me a lot of Calgary - a zillion suburbs and a city built close to the Rockies. Oh f'ing f'ing crap M and my bikes were stolen last night.  ARG!  They're supposed to be insured (will find out later today for sure), but it's still such a giant pain in the butt.  And I LIKED that bike, dammit!  I rode it all the time!  And when I get a new bike, I still won't have anywhere really secure to lock it up because there just ISN'T ( Read more... )
