For some unknown reason, the dvd icon disappears from my windows vista desktop..

tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but no success..

search online.

need to delete the following key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\LowerFilters.. then the dvd icon appears again after reboot.
