It's all out there, in the hands of someone I both respect and find repellant. I hope that making myself this vulnerable can lead me somewhere for once. Why do you fall so hard? Why do you need to love the idea of something so much?

Ten more push-ups

I've had a hard time caring about posting in this journal. I actually tend to remember that it exists but I haven't had much to say. CNY has been a much lazier period for me. I'm kind of looking forward to next week, going back to normal.

I don't know what to say about humility. I'm not good with authority. I see the merit of all the things that people do and it doesn't then proceed that I will feel motivated to do something meaningful. Meaningful? Why did I come to that choice of words? My salary was doubled today, I'm very happy. I'm finding myself increasingly worried about where this leaves Finley in the whole equation. Perhaps things will pan out and I'll be able to get him over here. At least I know I'll be able to go home with some cash now.
