hi! i'm still extant. and i have to get up at four in the morning, so this will have to be quick, since it's almost (gasp) 8:30 now. but here will be a journal of my "everybody should work in a carrot factory" job. my mom worked in a carrot factory once and said that it's good for everyone to have an experience like that. mine is a turn-around at ( Read more... )

i would have to concur that extant is good! i am not sure that working in a refinery is good, but am fairly sure that having money is. my grandma says "this too shall pass." thank goodness.

wow, i never thought about it, but i guess somebody has to peel all those potatoes. my mom sorted carrots. she said she worked with a bunch of old ladies who were really sweet and brought her homemade pumpkin bread and things.

and i never thought about the tickle-protection factor either, but it's true. although if any of those guys tried to tickle me, they'd get what's coming to them i can tell you.

i really really want to come visit you! it should be easier to get a job over here in bellingham.

Hi! Laura's right, that's a great image. The clothes probably weigh as much as you do. : )

Maybe you can come over and supervise my kitchen to make sure it doesn't catch fire when I inadvertantly fill it with smoke. I wonder if my smoke detector needs a new battery.

your brother's sign...now that's a great image. i wish i'd thought of that. is this fire ninja brother?

the clothes aren't as heavy as bunker gear, but they do just about double my size. i look like i gain about 80 pounds every morning and lose it again every night. it's like a miracle--or freak--of modern science.

i'd love to come supervise your kitchen. i could test all the food for poison too, just in case, you know. i am versed in the use of both fire extinguishers and forks.
