I was relieved to find that my Coil CDs were high enough in my storage unit to mostly escape the damage that other poor and unfortunate CDs of mine suffered in the flood on Wednesday.

I'm reminded of Jhon Balance in David Eugene Edwards' singing... even the music of Wovenhand shares in that air of mysticism... except the powers that DEE is drawing from are infinitely greater.

A double whammy of classic New Song awesomeness has gotten be on track. Things are looking really positive and I pray that things just get better and better.
I've started another journal.

I used to wake up to Autechre's "Eutow" most every morning. It was a soothing yet energizing way to break the slumber. Now, years later, the song just makes everything I'm doing come to a halt. Certainly one of Autechre's most mesmerizing moments.

My fellow officers... what brutal fun they can be to be around, like at the beach, in the water, with a football, and the craziness that ensues. And yet, what a nuisance they can be to be around, like once hammered, in a bar, with a really cool girl that likes me, and the way they try to help but ultimately ruin everything.

There are 2 girls that I know, who are pretty much my dream girls... not the dream girl that I'd come up with if I were to invent one in my head, but the kind that's so brilliant that my imagination would be completely incapable of inventing. I'm having this superhappy/sad combo thing going on right now. I was already pretty darn happy... yesterday I talked to Monty, Jive and Jake... all great conversations with friends I'm so in love with. Lastnight I decided to ask God to show me my future in my dreams, hoping to learn what to do when September comes. What He showed me though was much, much better... a future than included Malynda, seemingly living with me, though unfortunately not yet in a relationship... I'm sure that part was just right around the corner. But why was I wearing

I listened to Big Fish for the 1st time on my return from DC. It was worse than I thought it'd be. Thank God for Wovenhand. I don't think they disprove the rule that Christian rock sucks, but they do prove that there are exceptions to that rule. Big exceptions. I was able to focus on the part of my job I love this week... except that part isn't always great either. All of his lies came out at once. He hadn't changed as I'd thought.
