Why do we always go to the Forks for Canada Day fireworks?

Next year we will have our own party on the riverbank in our neighborhood where we can still see the fireworks sans large crowds of idiots.

Also, i want my own drill.

Today I am going to scoot over to the library and borrow me some books on antiques and making jewelry from junk.

Then I am going to sit outside and bask in my youth and the glorious day etc. maybe in a lovely park or at the forks. The possibilities are endless, obviously.
