My dad texted me to let me know our dog, Ruby, died yesterday. She was almost 16 so it was coming fairly soon, but I thought I would get to spend Xmas with her. She may have been a dog but this is actually the most significant death in my life so far... (I don't have a lot of relatives).

I'm sorry Zoe -I'll miss her. I still remember how when we first met she didn't bark at the door and your mum was all surprised :-)(though she made up for that a few other times :-p).
