      So I got rid of the pump this morning, and I won't miss it. I always knew managing diabetes was a serious pain - since, y'know, you have to change a lot of your daily habits - but I have a newfound respect for people who keep their diabetes under control. re your p.s. -- how much variation is there in the daily sugars for a non-diabetic? or is this neroses? nerosis? wtfever? more related to the possible type2 onset?

There's some normal variation, technically 80 to 140*ish* - not as big if you're not diabetic, but there's a whole spectrum, including the range classified as pre-diabetic. So yeah, my neurosis is all about wanting to see mine in the normal range and worrying that it won't be. Of course the meter can be up to 20% off from the actual plasma level... so yeah, I'm just being silly. :)
