input modes
To enable esperanto input modes on a Fedora 14 Linux box, just type the following command:
sudo yum -y install m17n-contrib
Then you can enable the mode per the usual Gnome GUI config via menu System->Preferences->InputMode.
m17n stands for multilingualization.

I was in the middle of making up a silly story with my daughter about a bird and a fish, one in which the fish had taken to a particular rhythm that sounded like splish-splish-splish-SPLASH. I must vent, just for a moment, about something trivial.
Some lame government agency just published "research" which says that, in the city of Seattle, I would typically save $11350 per year riding a bus instead of driving a car. Well, not that I drive much, but I find this mendacity a bit insulting.

fitness progress
Well, I started commuting by bike regularly in late May of this year, been doing it fairly regularly except a couple days when I had any special errands or was travelling or whatever.
