i'm going w/ essure, i've done a lot of research and it's less risky than tubal ligation

i'd probably make squeezypet get snipped, it's MUCH less invasive than any woman thing

I gave a lot of thought to getting an IUD but I've been on the pill since I was fifteen, with a couple of breaks, and am sticking with it for now because it's helped controlled random skin issues, mood swings, and menstrual cramps that were so bad they would make me vomit and pass out.

I plan to get a tubal ligation as soon as I find a doctor that will do it for a women in her twenties (because zomg I might change my mind and want teh bebes in ma belly and sue them) but if the pill were not an option for me I would definitely go with an IUD. They have a bad reputation due to some issues from old school ones, but I did a lot of reading and the potential side effects of the newer ones don't seem any worse than those of any other method of birth control.

There's a community on here called something like IUD divas that I did a lot of reading in when I was considering it if you want to check that out. Lots of information there and the women were all really nice when I was reading it. :)

Oh, and I forgot to add that I wanted to do tubal ligation rather than Essure because I just can't stand the idea of having something permanantly implanted in my insides. With my luck I'd hit myself with a car door or something and it would explode out my back, taking my kidney with it. None of that for me.

I wish Chris would get a damn vasectomy. Instead I get to be on the pill and have the burden of us not wanting kids be on MY shoulders. It's not fair that chicks always have to be the ones to deal with this. A vasectomy is quick and easy and CHEAP!

I got a tubal ligation almost 13 years ago (a year after my son was born, it was my gift to myself). Let me tell you a couple of things about it
