It's all work, playing music, funerals, more work, getting over this awful post-funeral cold, then before you know it it's time to clean the apartment and get ready for Thanksgiving. Having the lamest little meltdown-crying-fit-feeling-sorry-for-myself day ever. Ugh.
It's not just that I'm freaking tired of ten+ hour workdays -- it's more that I'm tired of pretty much being the ONLY person at my job who has them.
My schedule is so vastly different from everyone else's but I'm still expected to do the same amount of work - ( Read more... ) -
Because sometimes I miss 'Lost' a little...
This isn't in any way new, it just made me laugh when I saw it. You don't have to be a huge "Lost" fan, but it may help to have seen a little of the show. It's not long, and it's sort of slashy. Enjoy.

I've been neglecting my journal here for months.
I've missed being here so so much. But, RL has had me a bit busy of late. Adjusting to a new job, a new state and all that. It's been a great few months, I have to say. And I've been writing a bit, but I'm ready to do more. And I miss reading all your stuff too.

The Doctor Who convention over the weekend was lovely. Got to catch up with a few friends I made there last year, and it was great. It reminded me that last year at this time I was in my last quarter at Cal State, writing a term paper on fanfiction. So I'm off to L.A. in about an hour. I'll be attending a sci-fi convention that I went to last year and had a great time at. People running around in amazing costumes inspired by Doctor Who by day... attending panel discussions titled things like "How Gay is Your Fandom" and "Slash after Torchwood: What's Next?" by night. A: When it's written to fulfill a drabble meme request, but is too frickin' long to actually BE one. Such is the case here.
