Does an train trip to Portland with an overnight stay with a 2 or 3 month old baby sound absolutely awful and ill-advised?
I need to decide if I want to go on the yarn gathering trip this year, like, right now.

In those first 2-3 months babies are usually nursing or sleeping a lot. You won't be driving, so you can nurse. I think it sounds lovely, though you may not get a lot of knitting done.

yup! I'd go for sure. Is H going too? The only issue I can see is baby and H having trouble sleeping together. Yet, everyone will be staying up late anyway so I bet you all will pass out together. If it's just you and babe- then DEF go. You get to do that solo baby thing but this time with serious experience. It will be wonderful I bet.

Yeah, if it's just you and babe, I think it will be totally doable.
