Greenbelt/PG County in the news

A kitten with rabies was recently adopted from the PetSmart where I had adopted Agent Cooper years ago. Yikes. But if you're gonna find a kitten with rabies, it makes sense that it would be at Beltway Plaza.

I'm telling you - living dead animals are the next big thing. They broached the topic of zombie babies in the "Dawn of the Dead" remake, so living dead animals can't be far behind.

I had always wanted them to explore alien/hybrids more in the Aliens series. I think in one of them came from a dog host, so had different characteristics. Obviously, more dog-like. The rest of them all came out of humans. I once thought up a new entry into the series where Alien dolphins come up to some swimmers in the Gulf of Mexico in part of it. Those things were creepy. It seems aliens prefered human hosts, but used other kinds of creatures when needed. Speaking of which, could an alien host another alien? They seem to have to be mammals.

I'm always down for an alien discussion! I think the alien functions as kind of a parasite where they always need some kind of intermediary host to incubate the offspring, like a plus-sized version of a bot-fly. I know in Alien 3 that one came from a dog host, and there were some quasi-aquatic ones in Alien:Resurrection, but I don't think they ever explained what their deal was. And then in the "Let's Pretend it Never Happened Category," in Alien vs. Predator, there was a Predator/Alien chest-burster at the end of the movie. And who knows how you classify a Predator...
