Pirate Movie Gathering

This sunday, early afternoon, I would like people to start amassing to see Pirates of the Carribean at the Big Ol' theatre by park street (the AMC Theatres Fenway 13). Well, the movie wasn't out last weekend, and I was in a psychiatric lockdown, so it just wasn't an option. I'm Really sorry I didn't get to meet you, but being the non stop disaster I was, I didn't really have much choice other then accept the hospitalization. I'll come visit eventually though.

I was joking, but yes I'd heard. It sounded as though the break might have done you some good though, and there will be other times. We might be up there in August for some undead films in fact, provided our schedules and wallets allow it.

I was going to head to start hanging out near the theater by 3, but if you want to get together before hand, I'm down. I plan on spending the first half of the day frantically trying to finish my outfit and gathering anything that can be distributed for others (shirts, bandanas, etc..)

What time would you want to meet up?

This movie was infact, made for me. And I wasn't waiting for it, because a far superior version has lived in my head forever. Plus, no hero will ever be cooler then captain blood (when he was played by Errol Flynn). You coming?

Well, what do you have in the way of piratey clothes already? I generally suggest, for a very basic outfit, a bandana, a horizontally striped shirt of some sort, and pants cut to calf length. For a little extra mileage, a piece of rope can be used for a belt. I'm working on making a bunch of striped shirts, but I don't know if any will be done in time to lend you one. But I'll try. Also, you may be able to find stuff at thrift stores. I know that there are some sailor tops for like $40 at "what once was" near my apartment in brighton, but I am low on cash and they are pretty damn small, so I haven't bought em yet.

I've got high boots, and pants I can tuck into them. And a hoop earring. That will have to do. The only clothes I have other than grubby black long sleeved shirts and pants are girly dresses, which pirates wouldn't wear out. Most pirates.

well, if all else fails and I haven't managed to make any shirt and you don't see a cheep one anywhere, you could just wear a wifebeater, or by a pack of white t-shirts and a black marker, cut the sleeves and collar off a white T-shirt, and make your own stripes.

OOPs, lemme update that, I got the wrong showtimes. The show is at 3:20 or 4:35. Thanks for pointing that out.
