or some shit like that, true? I turned 42 this month and while I certainly look 42...."laugh" lines that cause me no giggles and gray hairs and I think the skin on my hands is losing some elasticity....I fear that I don't have the accompanying wisdom that should come with ALL THAT. I am as unrealistic, unrepentant, and unprepared as I ever was. ( Read more... )

There are some things about our moms that we will never be but that doesn't mean that we are "less than" in that way, simply that we are different.

And I'm sure that were we to ask your mom about you, she'd say something about how she wished she were more like you in some other aspect.

We, humans, are funny that way. We sometimes don't see the good stuff that are so clear to other people.

And hey, you, 42 is young! (after all I think I"m still a kid). LOL!

And no, we don't know everything. But I think, we aren't suppose to. The fun is learning and failing, and getting back up and still giving it our best shot and getting better at it.

I'm just so glad to have you back with us!
