Blood Ties and got sucked into Lifetime again...only for another cancellation. When will I learn?

THE Zoobie Chat is no more.  Zoobie died 2 years ago...an old old kitty.  I do have a new giant cat, Cofe, who's part maine coon kitty with all of the accompanying personality quirks  :)

right now.  Stumbled upon my LJ.  It's been a long time.  I'm sitting outside, smelling the blossoms from our southern magnolia tree, enjoying my second cup of coffee, just remembering the fun I had here.  It was wicked but oh so much fun. 

or some shit like that, true?  I turned 42 this month and while I certainly look 42...."laugh" lines that cause me no giggles and gray hairs and I think the skin on my hands is losing some elasticity....I fear that I don't have the accompanying wisdom that should come with ALL THAT.  I am as unrealistic, unrepentant, and unprepared as I ever was.  ( Read more... )

in case anyone was wondering.  Ok...moved to my mom's house, fiance supportive and in tow, to help her as she is in poor health.  Poor health is an understatement....newly diagnosed liver cancer and not yet sure if cancer is also elsewhere.  I love my mom.  It was just easier to love my mom from AFAR.  That makes me sound bad, true?  Not exactly ( Read more... )

As the detox hospital where I work generates over 10 grand daily in revenue...you'd think they could spring for some actual christmas gifts for the patients, true?  NO!  Management decided to give them baseball hats that say Behavioral Health Services.  I was fucking embarrassed to go to work today.  The upside though...the karma clown is gonna be ( Read more... )

I woke up today with some semblance of Christmas spirit.  3 inches of snow and more is falling.  After finishing my pot of espresso I'm gonna go fight with my tree and miles of lights......

is fucking yummy.  I went to Hillside Dairy today to pick up some pumpkin ice cream for the Thanksgiving glutfest that I'm hosting this year.  I'm not clear on exactly what happened to the ice cream but I do have a stomach ache now....hmmmm.  Hopefully no one saves room for dessert!!
