the fifth of November.  Here's (not much of) a confession.  A lot of what I know about history comes from the movies...and I loved  V for Vendetta.  So...Happy Guy Fawkes Day!! 

...in Salem.  I was looking for a particular memorial for one of the "witches" hanged in 1692 and when I found it Geo was right behind me.  Next thing I remember is two strangers asking me if I was okay and Geo was about 500 feet away.  Lost some time there, eh?  hmmmmmmmm.  BTW my little pic is a shot I took of the House of the Seven Gables.

This was a good day.  An extra hour of sleep and a trip to B&N.  I picked up Patricia Cornwell's latest Kay Scarpetta novel.  She almost makes me want to be a forensic pathologist.....almost...because..well I faint at the sight of blood, which is curious considering how much I love vampire shows.  I also bought a couple of Carrie Vaughn Kitty books ( Read more... )

I was brushing my teeth...chatting on phone...chuckling at snarky comment from Geo...oooooops....right into the bowl.  Probably the karma clown with a pie in the face for me...I've been mean lately.  Good news is I have new pretty pink razr....unsure whether to be nicer or just keep phone out of the loo??

Zoobie is decked out with a mask...October is just around the corner and Blood Ties is less than 2 weeks away.  The big wait is almost over...slow and agonizing wait made enjoyable by all of the lovelies at the Devil's Playground...thanky all you S.P.ies...(LH is one too...you just know it). 

Just had to get out of work for a bit...my job is hard enough without having to do other people's work too.  Step up to the fucking plate and do it E, lazy bitch.  That felt good.

I am still rattled.  Finally got to sleep about 2:30 last night...not too bad.  An hour later I was awakened by shouting outside of my apartment.  Then I heard a gunshot followed by a dog screaming in pain for about 30 seconds.  No more sounds from dog but people shouting and wailing.  I look out my window on the 4th floor to see the poor doggie.  ( Read more... )
