I registered for the amateur cyclists ride in cyclothon 09. Hope I do well. -
Cyclothon
TI cycles is organizing Cyclothon 2009. I intend to do the 50km amateur ride. Had restarted my cycling training from last week after a very big break of about 4 months. My last ride as I can remember was from Sringeri to Kuduremukh.
The only bad part abt the event is that its planned on NICE road. No shade, lots of head winds and no big climbs. -
Song Bird Rocks
SongBird is my current music player. I am extremely impressed by this player. Its got some really amazing plugins. mashTape and the iPod plugins are my favourites. I finally am liberated from having to use iTunes to sync up my iPod. -
Mont Ventoux
The tour goes through Mont Ventoux ( pronounced Mo Vontu). This is regarded as one of the most diffcult climbs due to the gradient, lack of tree cover and high speed winds. They took Sybase code base, mashed it up and made a shitload of crap out of it.
Sybase however is an awesome database. The only issue is u need a maverick DBA to configure it well. -
Wats the reason?
I recently went to some small villages in Rayalseema region of Andhra Pradesh.This region is known to be quite dry and arid. Everywhere I looked I saw paddy and sunflower fields.
