Eh, sort of. It makes me feel like crap but I hold on to the hope that my own heartache can eventually be turned into something romantic and artistically fulfilling.

The whole story arc between ITMFL and 2046 hits pretty close to home though. I really feel for Chow, being so deeply in love with someone emotionally unavailable and then tormented by what might have been when she vanishes, thus leading to his alienation and womanizing in 2046. I see a lot of myself in him :(
