Jaejoong stared hard at the purple velvet box that was currently sitting in the middle of his room. He shifted his butt to sit more comfortably on his bed, pulling himself into a cross-legged position to prepare for the long hours of thought. He simply could not comprehend Junsu's birthday gift for him.

And the purple box silently laughs at Jaejoong's stupidity.

Or not so silently.

The sound of the soft chuckles sent Jaejoong flying back in fear, his back plastered against the wall. What did Junsu get him?!

Earlier that afternoon, Junsu happily bounced to Jaejoong's class to give him his birthday present.

"Jae! Happy birthday!"

Jaejoong turned to see the ecstatic Junsu grinning like an idiot, and couldn't help but grin too at the contagious smile.

"Junsu-ah, thank you!"

"Oh! Don't thank me yet! Thank me after you see...this!" Junsu pulled out an antique purple box and waved it in front of Jaejoong's face.

Jaejoong scrunched up his face and eyed the box suspiciously. "What is it?"

"It's a Super Box!" Junsu paused to see the reaction on Jaejoong face...and it was no reaction.

"Aish! Why do I have to explain everything? It's a box that will make your wish come true!"

Jaejoong reached up to put his palm on Junsu's forehead. "Do you have a fever?"

"Hey! What's that suppose to mean?!" Junsu pouted and whacked Jaejoong's hand away.

"It means that I think you are being delusional."

"Trust me Jae! It's true! The lady at the shop says so! So I'm literally giving you a birthday wish on your birthday!"

For a moment, Jaejoong really thought Junsu was being serious. "You really think you are giving me a wish for my birthday?"

After some thought, Junsu started to doubt himself. With a nervous laugh, he said "It's the thought that counts, right?"

Jaejoong slowly crawled back to the edge of his bed to examine the box closer. No more sound came out of it as he dared himself to approach closer. Holding it gingerly in his hands, he let his fingers brush against the soft velvet, his hand stopping at the clasp. He almost lifted up the lid, but a loud yell from the kitchen downstairs interrupted him.

"Jaejoong! Dinner!"

"I'm coming Umma!"

Jaejoong clumsily set the box down on the edge of the bed and rushed out the door. Little did he know that the box slipped off the bed and crashed opened onto the floor.

Half an hour later, Jaejoong made his way back to his room after dinner. He pushed his bedroom door opened, but stopped and froze. Slowly, he pulled it back to its original position. He pinched his own cheeks to make sure he wasn't dreaming.

He pushed it open again, this time more cautiously. Peering inside, there was indeed a handsome guy sitting on the floor beside his bed with an amused expression on his face. Jaejoong blinked once, then twice. He was about to close the door again but the guy interrupted him.

"You are not seeing things. I'm really here."

At the news, Jaejoong eyes widened, and he was inside the room in an instant, locking the door behind him. His hand shook as he pointed at the guy.

"Are you trying to rob our house?! I won't let you!"

The guy let out a bemused chuckle. "I'm not a thief."

Jaejoong took a second to let that sink in, and then inched over to the left to grab the baseball bat. "I won't let you rape me either!"

The guy smiled (rather evilly in Jaejoong's opinion). "I'm not a rapist either, but with you, I might change my mind." The guy added a wink which made Jaejoong drop the bat.

Come on Jaejoong! Get a hold of yourself! Don't be flustered now! Blushing doesn't look threatening at all! Jaejoong shook his head to clear his mind.

"Who are you?!" Yes, ask a practical question Jaejoong.

"For now, it'll take too long to explain. The more immediate problem is that you broke my house." The guy pointed down at the purple box that now has a separable lid. Jaejoong stared at from the box to the guy.

"I can't go back in the house without a roof."

If one listened carefully, one could hear Jaejoong's brain putting the pieces of information together, albeit rather slowly.

"Are you even listening to what I'm saying?! Fix my house! I can't go back in!"

Finally, Jaejoong's brain clicked. "You are the birthday wish?!"

The guy rose an eyebrow. "Birthday wish?"

Jaejoong nodded ferociously.

"First of all, my name is Yunho, so please don't call me by some ridiculous name. Next, for your information, I'm not a wish. I'm a spirit who makes wishes come true."

"I...see..."

"So how about you fix my house."

Obviously, Jaejoong didn't pay attention to anything other than the wishes. "So......do I get three wishes?"

Yunho gave an exasperated sigh. "Look. I don't have much time to explain things. If I don't get back into my house, I'll run out of energy and die."

Jaejoong then realized that indeed, Yunho looked paler than awhile ago, and slightly more...transparent? Jaejoong scrambled to fix the broke box.

"I'm sorry! I don't know you'll die! Hang on!"

The hinges on the lid was bent from the fall and just refused to fit back into place. Yunho cringed when Jaejoong grabbed the tape on his desk to mend it.

"Aish! Tape doesn't work! Do you see tape around your house?!"

"Ah...you've got a point." Jaejoong looked around his room for tools to use, but he couldn't find any. "Ah! I can't find anything! What do I do?!" Jaejoong turned to Yunho when he didn't get a response, and was shock to see that Yunho was in pain.

"Yunho! Are you okay?!" Jaejoong reached out to his arms, but he went straight through him. Jaejoong paled. Is killing a spirit considered murder?

Yunho finally grunted a reply. "Kiss me."

Jaejoong paused, thinking he heard it wrong. "Pardon? What did you say?"

"I said, kiss me."

"Ummmm...how does that have to do with--"

"Just do it!"

Jaejoong gulped nervously. Leaning forward, he stared at Yunho's trembling lips. He was about to close in the gap when he realized something.

"Wait...where?"

"Anywhere!"

Jaejoong moved sideways, and pressed his lips against Yunho's cheeks. Suddenly, he felt as if his strength was leaving him, and he had to hold onto Yunho's arms to steady himself. He started to feel dizzy and his head dropped down onto Yunho's shoulder. Before his world turn black, he felt Yunho's arms around him.

"I'll explain everything to you later Jaejoong..."
