"Jaejoong! Are you up yet?! You're going to be late for school!" A voice called from downstairs.
"...ngh...yea...! I'm up, umma!" Jaejoong groggily replied. He sat up slowly, rubbing his aching head. Where did I get this bump here? His eyes widened as his memory came back to him, of how he was drunk, and then how he got a phone call from the hospital...
"I'm going to work now! Don't be late okay?!" Jaejoong's umma yelled before closing the front door. Jaejoong couldn't believe his ears. Was it really his umma's voice? Was everything just a dream? He looked around his disarrayed room, noting how the phone was suspiciously on the ground, and his jacket was on the other side of the room. Looking down, he was still in his clubbing clothing. There's no way it could've been a dream.
Yunho...it must've been Yunho... Jaejoong immediately flung the closet open, but there was not sign of Yunho. He searched the tea cup, the drawers, even his pencil case, but to no avail.
hmmmm why did I put my wristbands in my old pencil case...? Jaejoong paused in confusion. Wait...what was I searching for in the first place? Jaejoong tried to massage away his headache. Aish...I'm getting old...
He glanced at the clock and was shock that he was going to be late for school. Pushing away whatever worries he had far behind his mind, he rushed to get ready for school.

Jaejoong gave a sigh of relief when the last bell of the day went. With a headache like his, he wanted nothing but go home as soon as possible.
"Jae! Happy birthday!"
Oh right...it's my birthday today...how could I have forgotten? Jaejoong turned to see the ecstatic Junsu grinning like an idiot, and couldn't help but grin too at the contagious smile.
"...Junsu-ah, thank you!"
"Oh! Don't thank me yet! Thank me after you see...this!" Junsu pulled out an antique purple box and waved it in front of Jaejoong's face.
Jaejoong scrunched up his face and eyed the box with confusion. It looked somewhat familiar... "What is it?"
"It's a Super Box!" Junsu paused to see the reaction on Jaejoong face...and it was no reaction.
"Aish! Why do I have to explain everything? It's a box that will make your wish come true!"
Jaejoong reached up to put his palm on Junsu's forehead. "Do you have a fever?"
"Hey! What's that suppose to mean?!" Junsu pouted and whacked Jaejoong's hand away.
"It means that I think you are being delusional."
"Trust me Jae! It's true! The lady at the shop says so! So I'm literally giving you a birthday wish on your birthday!"
How come this feels like a deja-vu? "You really think you are giving me a wish for my birthday?"
After some thought, Junsu started to doubt himself. With a nervous laugh, he said "It's the thought that counts, right?"
Jaejoong took the purple box gratefully anyway, putting it in his pocket. "Thank you for the thought then!"
"You are welcome! And don't worry, I'm not that cheap, I was thinking of treating you to dinner tomorrow!"
Jaejoong rose an eyebrow. "Why tomorrow?"
Junsu let out a nervous cough. "Ummm...because...I'm going out to dinner with...ummmm...Yoochun tonight..."
"Yoochun?!" When Junsu blushed and looked away, Jaejoong figured it out. "...Oh! So you and yoochun, you guys are...you know...together now?!"
Junsu nodded quickly, his face even redder than before. Jaejoong instantly pulled him into a tight hug. "Aish! My best friend is all grown up now! You have a boyfriend!"
"Jaejoong! Don't say that so loud!"
Jaejoong smiled and proceed to drag Junsu out of the classroom. "Come on! Go home and get ready! What are you still loitering around the school for?!" Junsu however, pulled Jaejoong back with a serious look on his face.
"Jaejoong-ah...you aren't mad at me?"
Jaejoong gave Junsu a genuine smile. "Why would I be mad?"
Junsu's worries were lifted, and his trademark grin found its way to his face once again. "I'll treat you to the awesome-est and best-est dinner tomorrow!"
Jaejoong pushed him out the school doors. "Go and run idiot! You're gonna be late!" Junsu's laughter faded away as he disappeared out of sight. Jaejoong sighed and slowly made his way out the school gates. He really did feel happy that Junsu got to together with Yoochun. He was a nice guy after all; romantic, humorous, kind, and sensitive, who wouldn't like that kind of guy? It's just that now Junsu is someone's boyfriend, he'd have to remember not to hang out with him too much in case misunderstandings happen. Maybe he should find Changmin tomorrow at lunch so he wouldn't be a third wheel.
Being so lost in thought, Jaejoong accidentally bumped into a guy who was walking briskly towards the school. He stumbled and crashed into a pole, causing the purple box to fall onto the ground.
"Ah! I'm so sorry!" The guy quickly bent down to pick up the box that broke open from the fall. "I'll fix it for you! I'm sorry!" He handed Jaejoong the the two pieces. Jaejoong looked into the empty box with a knowing sigh. Aish, I knew Junsu was ripped off by that lady. Some magical box this is.
"Don't worry about it. It's not that important." Jaejoong replied, putting the pieces back into his pocket.
"I'm still very sorry. Are you hurt anywhere?"
"No no, I'm fine--" Jaejoong froze when he looked up at an shockingly familiar face. He frowned, wrecking his brain for a name to match the face.
"...yun...ho...?"
The guy's eyes widened in shock. "How...how do you know my name?"
"I-I don't know..." Jaejoong stuttered, really not knowing why he blurted out that name. "Maybe...maybe we've met before?"
Yunho glanced away and laughed nervously. "Umm...I'm sorry that I won't really know. I...err...recently lost my memories due to an accident...so I don't know who I've met before..."
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that... How about we introduce ourselves again?" Jaejoong held out his hand. "Hi! I'm Kim Jaejoong."
Yunho smiled and shook his hand. "Hi, I'm Jung Yunho."
A simple handshake was a gesture with more meaning than anyone could realize--
They say that love is blind, but it is also a blind to bring the impossible together; to cunningly overcome distance, overcome differences, overcome logic, irrationality, pleasure, pain.
--it is love.

THE END

NOTE (on blind) : when used as a noun, it could mean 'a decoy' or 'a lure'.
A/N: I like endings that leaves the reader to interpret, so maybe some of you might not find this as a 'happy ending'. If you want to know the analysis of my own story, you can read below. XD But I'd like it a lot better if you interpret it yourself. This kind of ending will probably make people ask for sequels, so I'm saying now 'yes, I might write sequels'. If I ever want to practice more stuff, I'd probably write sequels or missing scenes pertaining to this universe. Nothing long of course. =D Thank you for reading! I really do love all your comments! <3
Will Yunho and Jaejoong remember each other? My answer is: it doesn't matter. One aspect of love is the building up of past experiences, but love can also be very fundamental. It's like a basic instinct that ignores the past, something akin to 'love at first sight' and 'love is blind'.
So how did Yunho bring Jaejoong's parents back again? My answer is: he reversed time. It is easier to reset things instead of changing things. If he suddenly brought his parents back to life, people's memories needed to be changed and the accounts of history would need to be modified to fit the alterations. It's much simpler to just turn back time.
Want an alternate ending? My answer is: you write me one. XD I'd love to see what other people will come up with.
My Analysis (for your interest only):
I have running motifs throughout the story, and I see that some of you have caught on to that.
1) If love can be calculated, then it's not love. To love someone is very tiring, and you might never get anything back, but that's just the way it is. Unconditional love should be the only love.
2) Appreciate your parents. Sometimes you might not want them in your life, but don't take them for granted. Life is unpredictable.
3) Sex doesn't always mean love. Love is something from internally, not externally.
There are also some symbolisms that you might be interested in knowing:
1) Yunho and the closet. I didn't realize until afterwards that I literally brought Yunho 'out of the closet'.
2) Jaejoong's bedroom. The whole story (before the epilogue) was set in Jaejoong's bedroom only. The constricted point of view reflects Yunho's inability to be in every part of Jaejoong's life since he wasn't human. Of which by the epilogue Yunho was finally compatible with Jaejoong after the curse was broken, and the story is shown outside of the bedroom.
3) Opened box. Whenever the box was opened (in the written scenes), it was broken open. It shows how Yunho wasn't meant to be restricted to the box alone. Also in the epilogue, Yunho 'showed up' when the box was broken.
(If you are wondering, I studied literature, hence all that technical stuff. ^^" )
Here's something super little extra for you all:

Years later...
@ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @
"Yunho-ah...you really don't remember meeting me before?"
"...I really don't...and I don't know if I ever will."
"Do you wish you could remember?"
"If I get to wish, I'd wish for you to stay by my side forever."
"Why is that?"
"You know, in case you grow old and get Alzheimer's and forget who I am, I'd still get to see you."
"...Hey! Take that back! Who's getting Alzheimer's?!"
