after a night where, thanks to the weather, we were expecting a crowd of about 400 and managed to get about 100, i slide into a fire hydrant on my way home after avoiding rear ending a cadillac that slammed its breaks and an explorer that 360'd on the freeway, i am not a happy camper.

Okay, so I'm stuck in the studio for the rest of the week. I'd be sleeping right now but my bud passed out on the couch. Great. anyways, It's been a while since i've posted so i thought i'd just keep it short. I started a video editing studio. So I'm back in Houston. I think the return trip ended up being 2130 miles. A bit shorter in distance, but much shorter in time. 35 hours as opposed to the 50 hours it took us to get up there. Granted, the trip up was much more scenic. Getting back down here, it was all interstate ( Read more... )

Well, I know I haven't really posted much of my trip as I planned to. What can I say, I'm a bit of a slacker and secondly, I'm on vacation. You can't possibly expect me to keep plans while my mind is A.W.O.L. can you? It's been a pretty great trip so far. Okay, so after about 38 hours of driving, we're at a waypoint. Burlington, VT. This after hitting Memphis, Nashville, Louisville, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Niagara Falls, Buffalo, Albany, and now on the way to Montpelier. I have to say, the Adirondaks (sp?) were breathtaking as was the ferry ride across Lake Champlain. Well, gotta hit the road.

Hmm, so I've been planning a nice long road trip for a few weeks now. Heading from Houston to Bangor. Set to take off on Friday morning. Of course, as soon as I plan to take off, the weather gets nasty. It's slated to rain the entire length of the trip. No idea why these things happen. I just woke up after 17 1/2 hours of sleeping. what the hell. that's not normal.

Well, apparently my court date today was just for the arraignment. What a waste of an entire fucking day. I guess on the plus side, I got the windows fixed on my car. It's been a weird few weeks. Mostly just work. Nothing else. Well, work and aggravation.
