Here's the first from my shoot a few months ago. Anyone guess the surprise I ignorantly missed while composing that's now really pissing me off about this image?

I've learned to watch out for that when I shoot people. I can't let my shadow fall on the scene.

I was being backlit and was having some serious trouble seeing anything through the gg - just didn't notice it on the fresnel

eh, i tried it - didn't really find anything that worked for me - feel free to try if you'd like - send me the results

LOL... oops, sometimes you get so concentrated on taking the shot just right you dont even think about that kind of thing. I think if you tried to crop it out you'd take too much away from the overall scene. Did you try burning and dodging in the dark room? It could take a long time to get it right, but it may work, I dunno I've never had to do that before. Anyways good luck, aside from the tripod its very nice.

thanks, I'm going to try to dodge it out, hopefully I won't have too much trouble with it - if all else fails, there's always the reshoot.
