On the 10th of July 1916 my Great Grandfather died. Lance Sarjeant Edward H Evennett died on the tenth day of the first Somme offensive. Part of my history lies in Northern France.

I just pulled a handful of receipts from my back pocket whilst pulling on some demin. Receipts from a pub in Newquay, The Eden Project, Sealife Centre, booze in Morrisons and a Thai restaurant. Ah how quick it becomes the past.
Tonight I’m out on the town in Dunstable. Pour some sympathy my way to see me through.
