everyone is so sad.

whatever happened to the innocence and naive happiness we all possessed in our youth? are we doomed to continue to lose things we held so dear and replace them with seemingly undesireable traits?

we are such strange creatures.

i think our innocence is dulled and pounded away with disappointment, and resentment. That in our childhood, we are protected by this cloud of purity and it slowly dissipates with each promise unfulfilled or each dream shattered.

In adulthood, we have become so jaded, that the cloud has completely vanished that we see life for what it really is. A battle. A struggle. A fight to make it to the top. To try to make those dreams of childhood come true. Then realize that they never will.

That's so depressing. At least in adulthood we have alcohol to combat our sorrows.

That's even more depressing. Where the hell is my tequila?
