Until last Sunday, Flyer was a happy, healthy, silly Flat-Coat. Then she had the first of a series of Grand Mal seizures. Her condition declined rapidly over the week. We were hoping an infection of some sort was the cause, but the lab results came back today. There was no infection to treat. We let her go to the Bridge this afternoon

I'm so sorry to hear the sad news, Zubie. A pet for many (for me) is a member of the family and more in so many ways. It sounds like she had a wonderful time while she was with you, though, so there's some comfort in that. Take care.

I'm so heartbroken. I've been crying off and on since you called. She was the best dog in the land. She was always happy and loving and ready to go. She was a clown who loved to put on a show to make people laugh. She was so sweet to my two cranky dogs, too. I so wish you could have had her a lot longer. I'm heartened by the knowledge that she's free of pain and running like the wind with Zubie, Folly, Sunny, Missy and Karma. EVEREST must be in ECSTASY! The LOVE of his LIFE has arrived! :)
