hooray, i've just bought one of these. i don't know what Smena means in Russian, but it means bartering or exchange in Czech, like exchanging your money, and considering it means a small stack of money for me, i'd say that's fair. let's hope it works now, yes?

ah, yes, they're good. really nothing to scream with glee or shit my pants about, but yes, they're good, a pretty solid band with nice songs.

I bought one off ebay a while ago but it didn't expose the film enough so I got no pictures from my first roll and I'm afraid to try again. No matter though, I have other cameras.

Smena in Russian means either "new generation" (young people who came to wipe out old farts) or "a shift" (at factory, school, etc.) But here it's obviously the first meaning.
