Captured in the photo below is the face that I made shortly before my new boyfriend Bill scrubbed the dirt out of my road rash with an antiseptic abrasive sponge. The nice lady at the hospital gave us the sponges along with a referral to an orthopedic clinic, some polysporin, an ice pack, a sling, 4mg of morphine, ample perscription for percoset

This is a great picture of you. You look so happy. I am weird enough to wish that the crash (slo-mo and all) had been captured on video. So glad you're okay!

I hope you have not thrown out the helmet.

If you have not, I would recommend the following:

Place it in a bag, attach a a note that reads "Aren't you glad this bag contains the remains of my helmet and not the remains of my head" and give it to your sister.
