He does many concert gigs as a singer, and he is looking forward to the imminent release of his first solo pop CD, Wearing Someone Else's Clothes. Theatrical projects in the hopper include a Broadway-bound tuner based on the 1992 film Honeymoon in Vegas, and a collaboration with writer Dan Elish on 13, a musical about teenagers.
I would like to perform this number for you all right now... And I will be dedicating this to my relationship with the Washington Academy of the Performing Arts. Thank you very much

1. Mckagen was told that he couldn't get his album made. There were too many druggees, or ex-druggees in his band. Critics thought people wouldn't follow through. This would be a lay about their rise, through problems (relapse, etc.). There would also be some flashbacks on his previous band experiences
