If you need an eating club to join, Cloister is always here, for the record. I've talked to a lot of people who seem to feel the same way you do. Makes me glad I never even considered bickering. You'll feel better. Honest.
Have you considered Theatre Intime? We are a fine eating society with one (1) or possibly 2 (two) refrigerators that could contain food, and two fine minifridges that contain a mix of alcohol, soda, and membership dues. While people certainly end up losing their "executive" positions due to votes by members, they are still fully eligible to come by the " 'time" (as we like to call it!) and waste time, or to come to the incredible fun that is a midnight strike, and (importantly) to the "cast parties" that bring members new and old together in the library of Terrace F. Club. Theatre Intime. Because you can never, ever, leave.
I am going to say the same thing to you that I said to Ilana...
I want to say that the 24 hours after being hosed from Tower were probably some of the unhappiest of my Princeton career.
And of all the things I thought I wanted, not getting into Tower is the one that I am happiest that I didn't actually get it. I hope that makes sense... I am just so much happier in Quad, where the people are more laid back and more inclusive of people who are not in the club.
So... I'm sorry to hear that you didn't get in because I know it's something you wanted, but I guess I've found that it was a blessing in disguise and I hope that things will turn out that way for you as well.
Second-round sign-in results haven't been made available, as far as I know.
I just think that Tower would have been the best fit for me, seeing as how I know more people in Tower than anywhere else but maybe Terrace, and Terrace allows smoking during dinner, which is a major minus for me. Apparently Tower didn't agree.
So, totally felt the same way - I felt like I didn't know people anywhere *but* Tower. But in some ways, that's been one of the best parts of not getting in - I still know all of those people in Tower (and can meal exchange with them and hang out a lot with them when I want to), but I now have an entirely new additional set of friends in Quad.
Also, for the record, Terrace only allows smoking during dinner in one part of the dining room. Despite being someone who hates smoke, I've found that eating in the other part of the dining room where smoking isn't allowed is really fine. I would definitely have thought about signing in there were it not for the smoking in other parts of the building (TV room, tap room, etc.) though...

Although getting hosed yes sucks, if only for the whole concept of it, I highly doubt any of your friends stabbed you in the back. Tower bicker was MASSIVELY competitive this year, with over 200 people bickering for 80 or so spots. Some very very surprising people were rejected - figure skaters? President of wildcats? Crazy shit. So I know this is hard to do, but I suggest that you not take it personally, and keep coming to Tower because it's a place you enjoy and have so many friends in it. Maybe even try fall bicker.

I feel like I know about three members of Quad: you, Lauren, and pazu13.
