I am at the rehearsal dinner for my cousin Leo's wedding. It's a cookout at his fiance Jenna's place. There is an adorable little boy here, TJ. He is playing with a lit citronella candle and teaching me about the universe. So far I have learned:

• there is a baby elephant on the roof, but I can't see it because it's dug down deep
