Self-concepting

If you know me personally, even just a little bit, please do this for me. My therapist recommended a less high-tech version of this exercise to help secure my self-concept, so I thought I'd do it this way ( Read more... )

It's like I told Dei the other day (har, it rhymes): As each of us grows and sheds skin with every second and looses cartilage with old age; so each of us grows and sheds layers of untruths and looses naivetè with old age. So basically, we're each and every one of us a totally different person seven seconds from ago.

Puts in perspective and makes it easier to change, perhaps?

I guess Mr./Ms. Anonymous doesn't think much of me....
Needy? Sure. Foolish? Maybe. Weak? Of course.
But intolerant? I mean, hey, if this person feels that way, then who am I to disagree? After all, this is partially about how others view me, so if he/she views me that way, then I guess I can't really help it.
But I would like to know what I'm so intolerant about, cuz I'm kinda lost on that one.

Anonymous doesn't know you very well if s/he thinks that... You aren't intolerant in anyway!
