We're all fine up here at the Lake.
Lea's doing fine, her Gall Bladder removal went well, and she's losing weight as well! She's going to take a couple of classes, one in clay work, one on entrepeneurship, and one on health this fall. We're taking the first two together. And she'll be substitute teaching again. We desperately need the funds, so ( Read more... ) -

So, Mediacom started raising fees, forcing us off the internet, followed by AT&T doing the same, which forced us to drop the email/internet connection through our phones, as well as any phone/text service.
Sometime in the next 2 weeks we'll have internet via ngl.net at twice the speed of cable, and 3 cell phone lines via Metro PCS. And we save a ( Read more... ) -
Update
Well, the last 3 weeks have been pretty awful. I've lost a close friend, and a cousin, and a coworker all in those past 3 weeks. And I have an infection that isn't responding well to treatment.
BUT
I'm back at work, yay!

RIP my dear friend
Jim Kelleher, a friend of 22 years, and the person who played my companion/valet, passed away tonight. There are no words to explain the pain, he was a great man.
Hold Kinene, Jim's wife, in your hearts and prayers/thoughts while she goes through this rough time.
