Did you catch the part in the chat transcript where she mentions that Ginny had a brief career with the Holyhead Harpies? I'm not much of a Ginny fan, but awesome.

This book started out strong and somehow managed to keep the momentum throughout. I was impressed with Rowling's ability to wrap things up nicely, not leaving anything hanging that I can remember, save for the epilogue, which found me wanting to know more about the characters and situations they found themselves in after the battle with Voldemort ( Read more... )

Anyone else annoyed by how Ginny was treated in this book? I really, really wish she had made more and better appearances. She has always been my favorite character, and I feel like JKR just sort of skated over her. I hated that even Harry was all "don't come fight!" Randomly, anyone else weirded out by the fact that Harry and Tom Riddle are cousins?  They are both descendants of the Peverell's Harry from Ignotous and Riddle from whomever had the stone since that is what Marvolo had as a ring. 

Oh, and while I'm at it, what do you guys think Ginny, Harry, Hermione, Ron, or Luna are doing as adults? I half-expected Harry to end up the DADA teacher at Hogwarts.

Can someone explain the cover? I'm assuming it's the last Elder Wand scene but the cover doesn't seem to add up with the action scene description.
