I oddly expected to write for the college newspaper until I graduated. I like writing, I sort of have a weird style, and a good ammount of people like that style. Some people don't. But also some people like bad movies, and the like. So fuck some people, you know? just joking. Either way, I'm actually really upset. I have a concert tonight,

i looked for your column this morning, cause its the only one i actaully read. it wasnt there and i wondered why. i feel like writing a letter to the editor. its the only semi humerous one in the whole paper. im sorry. this one is good too....damon wayans is stupid. they should have gotten conan obrien, which i heard was thier second choice.

actually, no i can't. I dont feel like picking sides, especially because i dont know who is on who's side. I just honestly think this is a big mistake, a lot of people only open the paper because of me. and wants it's open, then they might read the other stuff. A little humor goes along way, in every aspect of life, really.

Brent I can't believe they cut your article. But it doesn't surprise me one bit. However, I don't agree with any sort of censorhip. I know that sounds rather odd coming from me, but I am really angry that the school decides to censor something. They seem to have forgotten this is a public university and that free speech is a guranteed right of ours. I don't always know what to think of this land of freedom. I am just rather angry that this happened to you. Perhaps you aren't as passionate about it, but speech is the only tool we have as citizens to fight against what we feel is wrong or agree with what is right. Even though you article has nothing to do with criticism or the like, I feel it is the principle of the matter. You should really take some action. Stand up for yourself and raise some hell. I will be shoulder to shoulder with you on the line if need be. Don't let yourself be tossed aside because they feel you aren't worthy of thought. Regardless of the thought, it is always important.
