BLU sat in the corner of the room, back to the wall, in a position where he could clearly see the door and the window, just in case. Pyro had come and gone and he had made himself scarce, wanting no part in her little dress up scheme. But now that Pyro had left BLU was back, just sitting and watching.
A piece of wood about four feet long was cradled between his knees, wood shavings curled around his feet with every stroke of the knife he held. Right now it looked like a half circle with two flat ends, but each pass was making it look more and more bowlike. His kukri dangled off his belt, within easy reach should RED decide to do anything stupid. Which given his track record wasn't out of the question.
Silently smirking, BLU watched him struggle to get the offending article of clothing off. "I think it's roight fittin' fer ya. 'Specially since th' dog still has yer hat."

His look of disdain was impeded: as he sneered in reaction, he bit back pain that shot through him from his nose, bringing his hand to his face again. It stayed there as she shot BLU an icy look. "Rack off. I'm not interested in your opinion."

He didn't miss a single stroke with his knife, the smell of fresh oak filling the air.
"Least it's red roight? She coulda put you in somethin' blue."

That didn't stop him from snapping back. "I said knock it off!" Pain blurred his vision again as his expression twisted- he squinted his eyes shut, which only served to make it worse.

BLU had no intention of stopping. While he was marginally concerned about RED's welfare, he was more concerned that the man stopped being an idiot and actually learned to stop taking shots at people. And especially people that would break every limb he had and most of his fingers.
While the RED claimed that he hadn't provoked his assailant, from what BLU knew about him he figured he was lying. He'd shot at him when he was unarmed anyway. And taken his things. And attacked him in the woods. The list of grievances against the RED marksman was piling up.
"Best lie back before you hurt yerself, mate."

Though given the lack of memories of the night, he reasoned he couldn't have been conscious for long. He was quiet for a moment, trying to swallow his pride. His eyes turned themselves to the window stubbornly as he took on an impassive expression in spite of his temper. "What happened?"

"You lost a couple pints 'f blood on someones couch." He made a few more passes with his knife then glanced up at RED. "You still look loike all hell." Though that hoodie was helping a bit.

It took everything in him not to cut back; his anger was curbed by a familiar bark from the doorway. His expression softened visibly at the sight of the dog, who admittedly did look good in his hat. Good dog. "Ringo. Come to see me, did you?"

Something about making the weapon he was going to use to pin RED's head to the wall, while in the presence of RED was oh so delicious.

And if he thought Chibi looked good in his hat, he should have seen the neat one the wolf got for Easter.
The scent of the wood shavings made the room seem less unnatural, but BLU probably shouldn't tell Chibi what he's making...or rather why.

"Good dog." His voice was low as he momentarily blocked out the fact his rival was still there, carving away on the weapon in his lap. It was an annoyance to know he'd be dodging arrows from it later. He returned his attention to BLU. "Right. I've got someone to keep me company, so you can be on your way now."

He stopped carving for a moment, holding the wood at arms length and checking for straightness.

But more important was the fact that RED was coherent enough to smile and to bicker with BLU. That had to be a good sign. As for the hoodie...it looked warm so he had no opinions about it.

He'd let the RED have his time with the dog, instead lighting up a cigarette and watching out the window. He was already in a hospital, he really should have had a doctor look at his leg, maybe prevent him from having a permanent limp. But he still couldn't bring himself to seek out aid, even when he obviously needed it. After all, he wasn't all that different from his counterpart lying injured in the bed.
"S'not as bad as yers though."
