I had some mushrooms yesterday, saw a big band do some crazy compositional pieces by dizzy gillespie, charles mingus and others. I felt a happiness that was so intense that I was consistently tearing at the eyes. Every note the band played was just 'Yes!'. Yesterday I went on a field trip with a geology class. The whole day was interesting, I stood in a meteorite impact crater 3 kilometers in diameter, quarried my own rock collection and found some fossils. Sylvia Plaths son commit suicide this week. That family has had it so rough. Plaths son was at home when she gassed herself to death. Then the kids moved in with their dad and his other woman.
