Yay for spring cleaning!
I finally got around to cleaning out my pants drawer, which I've been meaning to do for a long time, since it's overflowing and I never wore half of what was in there anyway. Now, not only can I fit all the pants I actually like, but I actually found a pair that do fit and that I had totally forgotten about! w00t! -
Cool Thing: The Weekly Sift blog
Updated on Mondays, the Weekly Sift is "a political blog for people who don't have time to follow political blogs." Left-leaning, of course. -Atonement, by Ian McEwan- I think that Ian McEwan is my new favorite author. This one was different from the others of his I've read. I just got back from the biophysical society conference, my first scientific conference. It was a really great time- I met a whole bunch of people and tried to absorb as much information as I possibly could. But that means that I'll have to spend an equal if not greater amount of time in a sort of "offline data analysis" mode, simply digesting it ( Read more... ) -

My grade came in: A-!!!
This is considered the toughest class in my program (Classical Electrodynamics aka Jackson) so I'm very happy to have done so well. -

Classes are over, but my grade isn't in yet. I'm pretty tired of people asking me if I'm on break yet, if I'm going to enjoy my break, what I'm going to do over break, etc. Being a physics grad student has plenty of perks, but they don't include a month off in the winter and three months off in the summer.
