i'm officially done with chemo due to another huge drop in blood counts that landed me in the hospital for a week. my cat scans came back clean so things are looking pretty good, though i'm still going to the doctors pretty much daily to check on my blood and get some shots to help me recover from treatment ( Read more... )

i've been meaning to give pretty much everyone a call for a while, miss all of you somethin horrible. things have been crazy lately. but the good/bad news is i may be done with treatment alot sooner then expected, not sure if thats a good or bad thing yet.

my former boss died in a motorcycle accident
there was a shooting out in front of john and krista's apartment
i've had a fever since tuesday that doesn't show any sign of letting up.

i had what was supposed to be just a routine check up today with my oncologist. in the past he told me that he would like to be giving me a shot after every treatment to help keep my blood counts at a safe level but the insurance company would only allow it after my counts dropped to a certain point. today i found out that my counts are low enough ( Read more... )
