American Apparel, or Hustler's protege?

Okay, I know American Apparel never claimed to be the answer to Abercrombie, but I suppose I took them for that upon the Memphis location's opening. It seemed as though they were doing the same thing for the different crowd, providing staples for the hipster's life. At least they fit.

I really doubt the head of AA takes all of the pictures of people modeling the company's clothes. At least some of them are people who've sent them in, and I'm sure they've got photographers.

Hey now, I'm not saying I don't wear AA clothes. I have a few shoplifted items that I cherish. My point is, it's not the prepubescent girl staring blankly into a carea lens like a molestation victim that persuades me.

to know the guy who started
AA. said hes a total sleeze
most likely sleeps with all
of the models too. makes
sense looking at the
pictures i guess

i have always thought, ever since i was aware of AA, that i felt a little uncomfortable with the pictures, because all the models seem to resemble underage rape porn victims.
