So I saw a psychologist tonight, the one recomended by my doctor and believed to be one of the best ED Psych's in Australia. It was OK I guess; you can only cover so much in one hour when you're telling someone your life story. But she was nice, and young, and cool, and not at all pathetic and awkward and bored like the few psych's I saw when I was

Please, I'm begging you too, don't use the ipecac. :( I just watched an incredibly sad episode of House about a bulimic woman who took ipecac regularly and completely destroyed her heart. She had to get a transplant or she'd die.

Hospitals don't like giving transplants to bulimics because they don't trust that they'll stay healthy afterwards. Luckily the doctor lied and said he didn't know that she had any type of problem that would remove her from the transplant list, but otherwise... :\ Please be careful with your heart, it's something you can't lose.

Promise me you won't do the ipecac thing again. It is very, very nasty stuff.
I have never taken in myself, but a friend of mine used to use it a lot and I'll never forget sitting with her whilst she was uncontrollably spewing blood. We both thought she was going to die. It is AWFUL stuff. Throw it away - or pour it down the toilet!
