Yesterday Jen, Netra, Rachel and I went to Bastille Day in Uptown. Well as we were driving around trying to find a parking spot we noticed that something smelled like sushi (also interchangable with vagina). I really enjoyed tonight. It was a good reminder of why I am such good friends with Jen. Sometimes I think I lose sight of that fact. White Castle has disgusting cheeseburgers, regardless of what people say. They taste and smell like onions. And mine had little crunchy things in it. Eww. But they were only 60 cents, so it's okay.

I read almost all of " The Roominghouse Madrigals " by Charles Bukowski at work today. And a madrigal is an Italian song written to be sung by several unharmonized voices. A song written to be communicated. I had to look that up, but I'm glad I did, because now the title seems appropriatly fitting.

OHHH shit son. This weekend I am going to see the Semester and Crashing By Design. Possibly alone. Then the 23th I am going to the Garage to see them again. I just did two things that made me really happy. First I went to the library and got several good books. "How To Be Alone: A Collection of Essays" by Jonathan Franzen, "The Roominghouse Madrigals" by Charles Bukowski, "Shampoo Planet" by Douglas Coupland, and "All Families Are Psychotic" by Douglas Coupland.
