So sick of making "compromises," and ignoring my own wants and needs to satisfy everyone around me.

I'm gonna go ahead and pretend everything's fine because that's what seems necessary. Healthy? Probably not. But necessary.

Although I may no longer be climbing mountains these days, I feel I am at a perfect level. I can see so much from up here. I am content, yet I have a goal and when I get there, I hope to see you there at that top. For now, it's nice to just relax and enjoy the view ( Read more... )

i have never been so unmotivated in my entire life.
senioritis in my sophomore year of college; good job jen, you're a winner!

i think the thing i miss the most is the closeness i had with people back in high school. if college is the time to make friends you'll know for the rest of your life, then i'm REALLY fucking behind. the only advantage of the way i've been living is the talents i've found in myself and how i'm more creative then i thought.

I feel a progression in myself i never felt before in my body, in my mind, and actually in my "soul". Just a few days ago i wrote an entry that i changed to private because i felt it was mostly for my own benefit and didn't need to be public, and ever since then i have been able to express my feelings enough to actually change. my new years resolution: to have friends.

1 year anniversary with frankie today. woke up cold as fuck on the worst tiled floor ever with very few hours of actual sleep. i really think today's going to be great. in fact i think this year should be great. i'm excited to see what happens with life.

i'm such a greedy person now but just hearing how much my friends get makes me feel like shit when i get a 100 dollar bill. it happens every year. i'm glad everyones getting ipods and macs and really freaking cool new stuff. i guess my parents just aren't the giving types.
