home-making

i luckily managed to avoid too much thunderstorminess and wind while changing planes in Chicago (which is what the weather is like there today). i would have liked it had i time on the ground to enjoy it, however. and this week in Heathrow there will be cloudiness and showers after today, which is 'mostly sunny.' it's a lighter adjustment than the ( Read more... )

I'm glad you're enjoying your stay. I anticipate being home tomorrow, I'm actually leaving soon to catch my flight.

I remember you correcting me on the pronounciation of your name. Sorry I was so slow to catch on, love. At least I have the English bit going for me so it will sound nice for you.

No, she was talking about us meeting long before we did. She's quite a fan of yours. I imagine she'll be making eyes at you for your entire stay. She never makes me scones either, so you should feel quite blessed.

Thank you, it's rather far fetched, but I like it as well.

of course i'll visit you! and Atlanta IS a good starting place for The Lake promotion. i'll be in Atlanta on April 7th and 15th to see Zwan and Fischerspooner, respectively - i'll meet you at the Fischerspooner concert and afterwards. then starting on May 30th i have a European tour.

i think it is because we don't have those too-girly conversations and she appreciates people for who they are, male and female alike.

I don't deserve friendship with someone like you. honest. it's like what we talked about in LA... it's so easy to be boxed into a certain impression that people assume they should have of you, it's near impossible to convince them of anything otherwise.

you have to be one of the most unassuming, accepting people I have had the pleasure of meeting. people like you renew my faith in society.

how's that for a comment? ;)

it wasn't that hard to meet you, once i had decided. i figured you can't always (or even truly for that matter) be as the media and other people portray you, and i wanted to see the woman behind the music. i couldn't predict what you'd be like, but it was a learning experience.

people who base opinions solely on secondary-source impressions have insecurities anyway (at least more than i do).
